Back form Nevada!

Aye! Me tired! LOL! So one of my besties invited me to go to State-line and Vegas for a 3 day weekend girls vacation and I had a blast! I don't get to go out much less travel so when she invited me I was like, "Heck yeah!!!" We had a yard sale to help out financially and I'm glad I was there to lend a hand. We left Friday morning and just got back home a while go. My feet are in pain and are swollen! I used chanclas  to walk for blocks and blocks at Las Vegas...bad idea! I was waddling and in pain! LOL! But it was fun and a lot of things happened but too many to mention! The last time I was there I was around 12 years old and man oh man has it changed!
This is us heading out of Cali and into Nevada. My white bestie friend, LaDonna (driving), Pat (the middle one)  had no idea I was taking a picture. LOL!

Melissa (with the sunglasses) is LaDonna's sister, Pat (now she knows I'm taking her picture), and Margaret (LaDonna's mom) who didn't know I was taking her picture. LMAO! Yep these are all my white friends. Jajaja! I wub them all!

Ballllllls!!!!! =D I couldn't help myself!

At the Bass Pro Shop?  I think that's the name. It was awesome!!!!!

This was new for me! A lot of new buildings!

So many things to see! We are planning to come back and plan to stay in Vegas.

Loved this store!!!!

Awesome place!!!!

The Bonnie and Clyde getaway car.

I couldn't believer it was still here! When I was a kid it was not all enclosed. =( It was awesome to see!

Hasn't changed!

Buck Owens!!! This slot machine is based on Buck Owen's show. I used to love watching it as a kid!

At State-Line and Cali border! LOL! Had to take a picture!

Anyway, I'm back and colored up an image...well some of it anyway. I just don't know if I want to paper piece the rest or color her in.  Need to make up my mind! LOL! We will see what I end up doing but I will figure it out.
Should I paper piece her or color the rest in?   Aye! I don't know what to do!!!!

Giveaway and More Updates!

Aye, feels like a whirl wind right now! LOL! So as you have seen I'm having a give-away on my other blog and a special release of some Sushi Dolls that I drew up a little while back; I couldn't resist! LOL! I have some others too but I think I will wait to release those in 2 months....maybe....AYE! =}

If you have not heard or read about the give-away that I am having on the Sushi Doll's blog please go check it out. This is where you can find it,

There are only 2 rules and easy rules at that!
1. You must be a follower of the Sushi Doll's blog.
2. You must leave comments on the posts, starting from the 13th until the 26th of this month. I have only posted 2 posts so far and I will leave the links after this.  To tell you the truth, I might just post one more post next week. SUPER EASY!

Here are the two posts that you should comment on so far,

The prizes!
If there are enough entry's that were done correctly I will be choosing three winners.  Those three winners will be able to choose one image from my Sushi Dolls. These images include the special releases!

I will be picking the 3 winners on the 27th so you guys have plenty of time to play along!

The next thing that I wanted to talk about were the special releases! I have them posted on the blog and on my website. They mermaids were inspired by a dear friend and the 20's dolls where just something that I came up with when I was watching a movie. LOL! They are super cute and I can't wait to see what my D.T does with them. Like all my other dolls, they are only $3.00!!!! For hand drawn original art, that is a very good price. So please go purchase 1, 2, 3 or more! Here are the links to the 2 places you can purchase them and all the other dolls.

So that was all of the announcements that I had! Now for pictures! I know how much you love them! =)

A painting that I was working on. This is a close up but I will have more pictures on my Facebook and on Youtube.

I was trying to make a background for one of my videos and I did this. This is the Danbo that I made and attached him to paper balloons. I adore how he came out!

This is the second one. I used my sketch pad and one of my mom's pencil buttons to make it look like he was writing. Notice how I used his left hand? I'm lefty so I just couldn't help it! Jeejeee. He is so cute!

Well ladies and gentlemen, I think that's all for now. I hope you join the little give-away that I am hosting and check out the new images that I have posted.

Muchos hugs!

I always feel like I'm yelling in silence to myself. LOL! So how has everyone been? Me...busy busy busy! First thing I want to say. My website has been updated! No, like more updated than before. =D I have posted my Sushi Dolls on my website.  They are easier to find and easier to purchase...well it seems like it to me. I'll have to get my D.T to test her out. Here is the link.....

Also I will be having a special release! But you will have to check out the Sushi Doll blog for that. Make sure to read the whole post for a secret hint of a little something something extra...only the SushiDollsBlog!!!!!! SHHHHHHHH!!!!! =) Not even my D.T knows!!!! =}

O.k...I have something to show you! I actually made a card!!!!! Yes!!! I have crafted!!!! LOL! I have been busy with drawing my images and let's just say I have enough for about 3 months! Jajaja!!!! I also have been coloring and paper piecing like a mad woman!!! I have other projects that I want to work on but feeling a little over whelmed....just a little. =) about a picture?

So this is the card that I ended up doing. I had a very hard time with this one! But in the end I liked how she and it came out.

What did I use?
I used the paper line form DCWV: The Mod-Retro stack.
For the base of the card I used craft card-stock; the Recollection's brand for Micheals
Martha Stewart carnation flower punch.
The image is colored using Crayola colored pencils with Gamsol.
I made to very very small bows for her hair using very thin ribbon.
The dress is paper pieced. The way I do this is by adhering the decorative paper on a regular piece of copy paper with temporary adhesive and printed out the image so it would get all the details of the dress. I then cut it out and viola!

Here is the other picture of the other 2 images I colored and paper pieced.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I would be more than happy to help.

Don't forget to go check out the sillyshysushidolls blog for some surprises...keep a look out!!!! =)

Muchos hugs,
